Psychotherapist and Psychoeducational Consultant
Ms. Grimm
is a licensed professional counselor who has
worked as a psychotherapist since 1998. She
received her Master’s degree from the Adler
School of Professional Psychology in Chicago,
IL. and is currently a doctoral candidate in
clinical psychology at the Illinois School of
Professional Psychology. Ms Grimm has been
working with children and families in a variety
of settings for the last nineteen years.
Ms Grimm
has extensive experience with therapy for
children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Her specialty areas include mentoring
adolescents, teaching anger management, leading
parenting programs for adults and adolescents,
and facilitating adolescent groups relating to
substance abuse, communication, and
self-esteem. She has also worked in a private
practice providing psychological assessment and
therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
She has had extensive experience working with
children and parents in their homes on such
problems as attention deficit disorder, impulse
control, auditory processing disorders,
behavioral and learning disorders, gifted
children, bipolar disorder, borderline
personality disorder, anxiety disorders, eating
disorders, self-esteem issues, and sexuality
issues.

I will consult

or business. Our presentations include a
comprehensive material and research review and
an interactive discussion aimed at answering
questions. For example, our presentation on
Depression in Adolescents focuses on current
information gathered from most updated theories
and research, parental education and
recommendations, case scenarios, discussion of
available resources, and treatment options.
