Ms. Marie Naumann,
M.A. received her Masters of Arts and is
currently completing her Doctorate in Clinical
Psychology from Southern Illinois University at
Carbondale. Prior to that, she attended
Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where
she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology.
Ms. Naumann has
extensive experience providing therapy for
children, adolescents, adults, couples, and
families to address a variety of issues. Her
areas of specialization include treatment of
depressive and anxiety disorders, and assisting
clients in working through issues of trauma and
loss. She has experience facilitating groups
focused on the treatment of borderline
personality disorder and substance
abuse/addictions. Ms. Naumann has been trained
to perform a range of intellectual, memory,
academic, personality and
psychopathology-focused assessments. Her
therapeutic style integrates techniques
including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal,
solution-focused, narrative,
dialectical-behavioral, and feminist
approaches.
Ms. Naumann is a
member of the American Psychological
Association.
