Dr. Juliana Panova
is the Director of
International Psychological Services.
She obtained
her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from
Argosy University /Illinois School of
Professional Psychology. Prior to that, Dr.
Panova received her Master’s degree in
psychology from Sofia University, Bulgaria,
EUROPE.
Dr. Panova
is licensed as
a clinical psychologist in the State of Illinois.
She has extensive experience working in
inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient
clinics and therapeutic day schools; consulting
lawyers, educators, and medical professionals;
and conducting clinical and
forensic psychological assessments.
Dr. Panova developed and proposed in her
doctoral dissertation an intensive integrative
treatment for complex trauma and Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder. She integrates European,
American, and Asian traditions as well as recent
scientific advances in her clinical work. In her
practice Dr. Panova employs a wide range of
psychotherapeutic and holistic approaches,
including clinical hypnosis and art therapy in
the treatment of wide range of acute and chronic
mental disorders, psychosomatic and medical
conditions.
Dr. Panova has been
dedicated to the idea of improving the quality
of psychological services in the USA and
Bulgaria and to educating the general public
about the nature, etiology, and treatment of
mental and psychosomatic problems. She appeared
as a guest in several TV and radio programs
discussing pertinent issues as well as wrote 26
articles published in an international Bulgarian
newspapers and Internet editions addressing
different aspects of mental health.
Dr. Panova provides
psychological services in the English, Bulgarian
and Russian languages. She is a member of
American Psychological Association (APA),
Chicago Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), and
MENSA International.
