Psychological and
Psychoeducational Assessment of Learning
Disorders.
Learning and
teaching are complex and often difficult
activities. Very few things we do as human
beings are more important, however. Our
emphasis in evaluating learning disabilities is
to assess learning abilities—what can the
child or adult do well and how can those
strengths be used to help overcome any
deficiencies that may be present. The precise
delineation of the learning weaknesses is also
important. Our school and clinical
psychologists and educational professionals have
many years of experience in helping individuals
and their families to understand and overcome
learning disabilities, both verbal and
non-verbal. |
