Psychotherapy
Center for Psychological
Services has a large staff of well-trained
psychologists and psychotherapists, most of them
at the doctoral level. The intensive training of
the staff assures the person or persons in need
of psychotherapy services will receive treatment
with experienced and seasoned psychotherapists.
Center for Psychological Services subscribes to
an integrative approach to psychotherapy,
looking for goodness-of-fit between the person
in need and the appropriate clinician. Our
psychologists and clinicians will work together
with your physician or psychiatrist, where there
is a need, and can make appropriate referrals
when necessary.
Marital and Family
Therapy
Center for Psychological Services has
psychologists and family therapists with broad
training in marital and family therapy. When the
referring issues have a family or marital
component, Center for Psychological Services
psychologists and clinicians will work with the
couple or the family to resolve conflict. Issues
can include conflict over child-raising,
intimacy, acting-out children, sexual problems,
adjustment related to acute and chronic illness
in family members, inter-generational conflict,
among others. Our psychologists and family
therapists will work with you to resolve the
core issues and help create plans for marital
and family harmony. |
